Commercial Finance Manager

We are partnering with a large, well‑established and highly successful business to recruit for a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a high‑visibility role supporting senior stakeholders, driving financial discipline across the business and providing robust commercial insight to support investment and capital decisions.\n \nReporting into a senior finance leader, you will play a key role in shaping the performance across the business. You will act as a trusted finance partner to operational and transformation teams, ensuring strong financial process, high‑quality analysis and clear insight to support decision‑making.\n \nKey responsibilities include:\n\nBusiness partner senior stakeholders across functions to provide commercial insight on investment and capital projects\n\nLead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for operating costs and expenditure\nProvide robust challenge on spend, efficiencies and return on investment\nOwn and develop financial models to support business cases, capital prioritisation and investment appraisal\nTrack and report performance against budgets, forecasts and approved business cases, clearly explaining variances\nSupport governance of capital projects, including post‑investment reviews and benefits realisation\nContribute to wider finance and transformation initiatives within a high‑performing finance functionRequirements \n\nA recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)\nProven experience in a commercial finance or business‑partnering role within a large or complex organisation\n\nStrong experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling\nThe ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight\nExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively\nA proactive, curious mindset and a desire to improve how things are doneBy applying, you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
